Has anyone added a towing hitch after?

I don’t have trailer stability control or any of that, but I was able to wire up all the lights to work correctly and I don’t get error codes. I used a Bronco trailer wiring harness. My point is, it can be done without running it through the Grenadier system.
Can you please share the details how you wired in the bronco wiring harnes.

I bought a stock unit and the UK IA dealer is adding the towing electrics and hitch for me. They say it's no problem to add it.

How much in total, they told me around £4000!
Less than half of that, but it's being put on before I take delivery of the vehicle. They said if I take delivery and then add it on (or anything else) that it works out much more expensive.

We have the hitch and wiring ( as close to plug and play as you can get) thoughts?

Does it have brake controller capability?
It can be if used in conjunction with the
Redarc EBRH-ACCV3-NA Tow-Pro Elite Electric Brake Controller; as suggested by Mark @ Redarc.. We have not added this feature into our wiring set-up. Adding that feature will be forthcoming, but the INEOS Grenadier with factory trailer wiring would still have to have a brake controller such as the RedArc installed as it is not supplied from the factory with such.

Another satisfied customer... Just received and installed a hitch receiver (receiver only, no wiring) from @Oscar3rd to accommodate my forthcoming bike rack. It is a quality component, as represented, simple to install and Marty was a pleasure to deal with.

Hello! Do you sell the wiring kit with your hitch? If so, what are the details... Is it 4 pin, 7 pin...?

Thanks in advance...

The OEM harness and kit are now available from a local dealer as well... It's more expensive than an aftermarket solution, but includes the towing module and full integration

What was your dealer quote on this? In a similar boat to many where I bought a build and stupidly didn't check the options list/car for the hitch.

From what I have heard, retail pricing on the "kit" to add the hitch/electrics is ~$2,000 for those without the NATO plug, and ~$3,000 with the NATO plug.

I haven't confirmed this directly with the parts in my hand, but from what I've been told the "kit" is the hitch itself, the trailer control module (this provides all the light outputs as well as interfaces with the rest of the vehicle to automatically turn off rear parking sensors, modify the ABS and stability programming, etc when a trailer is detected), and the complete wiring harness to/through the rear bumper. That harness includes the rear parking sensor wires, trailer connection wiring, and, if optioned, the NATO plug wiring from the interior to the exterior.

An enterprising individual could absolutely purchase the cheaper kit and transfer over the NATO plug wiring form their current bumper harness.

This doesn't include labor, if I were to take a complete guess in the dark, I'd assume 3-5 hours for the install as it also involves some control module recoding to tell the rest of the vehicle that there is now a trailer module in place.

All the above information is specific to MY24/24.2 North American vehicles

Does anyone know where to get the aftermarket wireing harness for the trailer setup

I just spoke with someone at Red Noland, apparently they are now able to install the hitch, wiring, ECU modifications, etc for $2200.... It is 100% factory and somehow for some reason it gets tied to your VIN...

It is VIN tied because it involves adding and recoding control modules in the vehicle
