I like red as you already have a black roof. The red breaks it up.

Which looks better, Red or Black?
Personally, I like the red.....adds a little color. When I see the red one I immediately think of Gas; when I see black one, I think potable water. ---- They both aesthetically look good!

Today's project was mounting a Starlink Mini on top, powered via rooftop DTP port. Good news is the Starlink Mini has a 12v-48v DC input, so I made a 2.1mm DC to DTP-06-2 cable to make the connection. Works perfectly. The base of the Mini is bolted to a custom bracket we fabricated as part of our rack to hold the Jerry Cans, not perfect right now, but works. I'll laser cut a trapezoid that matches the Starlink Mini base next week for something that's permanent and nice. One interesting nuance is Apple CarPlay doesn't work when I connect my phone via Wi-Fi to the Starlink Mini (Wireless CarPlay requires Wi-Fi), even if I'm connected via USB. If someone knows if it would work if I use a different USB in the Ineos, please let me know. Had a nice 100Mbps speedtest with the Starlink Mini while I was driving around town.

Got 22 inch forged wheels with 285/45/22 tires (keeping similar ride height) wider foot print and offset, with matching wider wheel arches. Got a comparison photo with a G wagon that just pulled in for a wash.

Got the car on Tuesday. So far I changed the bracket to make the back seats recline more, changed the bumper on the 70% door to a softer rubber. Change the wheels to all black, did a chrome delete on the grill, painted the break calipers red & painted the tow hooks red. Waiting on black grab bars for the roof, getting the windows tinted tomorrow. Need to install a wolf box back up cam. Waiting on a fox steering stabilizer, electric side step, GPS visor, side view mirrors and a few bags and pouches for storage.

With that chrome on the grill gone, it might work wrapping the white top and bottom of the grill as pic attached. It has been shown before by another forum member...I think it works well (y)

I was actually thinking about that. I did a crappy drawing filling it in black on my phone and didn’t like, but I see that it actually looks great. I also have the GP factors plates coming for the fenders. Once I put those on I’ll look at this again. It may be too much black?

Finally my new mounting base for the RAM Mount tough track 9" ist ready...
Now it needs some powder coating.

I asked the metal shop how much it would cost producing the pieces. He says around 55€ per piece plus powder coating.

I know 12 screws are overkill, but I don't like empty screw holes...
