Pick up my IG(Trial Master, Donny grey) yesterday and drove 400miles, now I have a newbie questions.

Hi Krabby, I find both the steering and suspension off road to be close to perfect. It' loves to be off road and soaks up the bumps and corrugations with a smoothness that is quite amazing. On road is a bit different, where for me the steering wanders a bit when going straight and you can feel any cracks in the road when going slow over tarmac/ asphalt through the suspension. All in all, I love it, however I wish the on road steering when going straight was a bit more centered and the suspension a bit softer on road.
I am running at 36psi front and rear. To be fair, I am coming from a New Defender, where on road steering and suspension is perfect and like riding on air, which of course it is. It's a bit of an adjustment, which I have embraced. I think having a realistic approach to the Grenadier and attitude adds to the pure enjoyment of it. If I expected it to be like my New Defender, (which is a completely different vehicle and drive), I would be not enjoying myself.

The 43/49 is what Mossy set mine to, which is correct for a fully loaded vehicle. However, you feel every bump on the road and it needs more correction on the highway. I drove from Houston to Brenham this morning (78 miles) and got 18.8 mpg on highway. Leaving Brenham I reduced pressure to 38/40 and the drive back was cushier and required less steering input but my mpg dropped to 16.8 (I also might have been driving a little faster). The TPMS alert was on because of the pressure change. When I got back to Houston I found the reset in the settings menu and established a new base pressure to monitor.

I think I ended up at 38/38 and haven't looked back. Of course I didn't do that until I got home from Seattle

Is this your first solid axle vehicle? I’ve had 7 jeeps, and some 3/4 ton trucks. All solid axle. The Grenadier handles great. I find it very well mannered. I drove it 17 hours to get home, 1800KM and it was mostly highway. It behaved as expected. But check your tire pressure as a start.
