♂IWC? Made in Tunisia?
TBH, noDoesn't anyone care that the altimeter they paid a few hundred dollars for doesn't work right?
Only the dial is from IWC. When my wife drove with Ineos from Huesca to Hambach a former MB G employee told her that.IWC? Made in Tunisia?
I fully agree, not easy to read…..Would be happy if I could even read it! Definitely not worth the money. I should have bought an aftermarket clock.
I agree, in the 3 months I've had the Grenadier I've never been able to read it. I put it down to my eyes , I wear long range glasses for driving but for close reading I have to change to short range reading glasses . The altitude is displayed on the touch screen anyway, which i can see, and in the a compass is hardly necessary. I didn't order it, it is standard in the FieldmasterI fully agree, not easy to read…..
As it happens the software update fixed ours today. And I used my wife to take readings.Would be happy if I could even read it! Definitely not worth the money. I should have bought an aftermarket clock.
Isn't that what the "Pathfinder" function is for? But I'd take a map...just in case of a very very rare software failureAs it happens the software update fixed ours today. And I used my wife to take readings.
If I ever get lost , she will be with me. And I will have packed a proper map!
That sounds far too complicated.Isn't that what the "Pathfinder" function is for? But I'd take a map...just in case of a very very rare software failure
Software failure or catching fire ....er now what are the chances of either in a GrenadierThat sounds far too complicated.
But yes , a real map and a real compass, says me as always with a backup for the backup .
In case the vehicle catches fire.
Snap, the same issue with glasses!I agree, in the 3 months I've had the Grenadier I've never been able to read it. Great. I like technology like this from times gone by.
Me too, old tech is just cool. I always made sure the Scouts in my sons’ Troop really knew how to use a compass.Great. I like technology like this from times gone by.
