To avoid overheating by high grass. In the rentals there are nets for this purpose.

They generally convert Land Cruisers for Safari duty, I believe they were responsible for the Grenadier Safari Conversions that we saw last year.

Forgot to report that whilst in Gabarone we got got to sit in the Grenadier game viewer prototype that is at NMI Ineos in Gabarone Botswana. Very impressive
