Wow that is even better than a bit of sawn off broom stick as you don't need insulation tape to stop it sliding out.Maxtrax winch widget... $11 AUD
Yep, this also my working assumption. Finally put my Navy Reserve Cadet rope coiling talents to use.but my feeling is that shortening the rope won't be necessary if you wind the rope in neatly after use.
Does anyone intend to fit an UltraHook to their winch? Happy to hear from users of the hook on other vehicles.
It’s not visible from outside? We’ve not seen the plastic bumper arrangement down here…Now put the donut at the winch and protect it professional. There is enough place in the chamber between winch and registration plate. The screws have poor quality and should be replaced from me.
Looks like a good fit. Which size recovery ring did you choose and what WLL does it have? Now put the donut at the winch and protect it professional. There is enough place in the chamber between winch and registration plate. The screws have poor quality and should be replaced from me.
nothing visible, only the two scews on the top
I think not for “transport“, I opened it only to assemble the ring, for this I left a view cm rop off , using the lever for the free running mechanism.@Lollo050968 ~ you seen to have all the winch rope on the drum? I thought you had to leave some off?
