For some reason, the apparently massive reliability issues with JLR has very little effect on their repeat business and the desirability of the product. 🤷‍♂️

I know a couple of people who have jumped ship from LR after years of buying them.

Mate of mine had a range rover sport for his wife, which blew an engine at 4 years old and 30k on the clock.

She now drives a GLC63 mercedes

Is there a way to actually turn the radio on and off? Mine was still playing after the ignition was switched off and I had no idea how to just switch it off. 😬

What bits have actually fallen off?

Can you share your list? 👍
Can I make the claim as having received the first speeding ticket for a Grenadier, I cannot however confirm or deny who was driving .

So fixing the speed warning is on your list, what else?

Where was the driverless IG, when it got a speeding ticket ?

I have noticed that the M6 between junction 6 & 7 around Birmingham has suddenly received the temporary yellow poles with the average speed cameras on them. No signs, no warning of impending roadworks. They just appeared. It’s a smart motorway but these things I would suggest aren’t that smart to deal with the changing speeds constantly.

A bit off if they have just stuck them up and turned them on with no sort of warning.

Back from Cornwall, 1075 miles covered, lost half of screen today , PDC error added to my list, radio turns on and off when it wants, clunks as it drops into second gear , love this petrol engine , sounds great when pushed , had a few bits fall off , love it the more I drive it

The ZF transmission in my Defender was a bit clunky when it was new. After about 4,000 miles it got a lot smoother, the system is self learning and it gradually got better.

Otherwise, check the oil level in the transmission. One or two Land Rover owners have found the transmission to be a bit low on oil and it affects the operation.

Checking the oil level is not straightforward, but you can google the procedure

3.0 TDV6 by any chance?

Many reports of crankshaft failure, design fault with the main bearings.
lt's like driving a grenade with the pin pulled, you can get 150,000 or it can go at 17,000

No it’s gone continental, flipped across to left hand side , I’m in uk driving right hand side, what’s KM/h all about
Have you looked at the settings? You can switch between left & right hand drive. I know you didn’t intentionally change anything but put it down to electrical gremlins.

I'm in the UK , I'm used to km/hr in Australia and cannot change the HUD speed limit flipflopping from miles/hr to km/hr and often the actual speed and speed limit being in different units.
Anyway after 1500km of this I've returned the hire car. Even though I've always been quick with my 1.6x table.

I am currently away from home but I read it in the manual. Will see if I can find it again.
