My Donny Grey Fieldmaster has arrived at my local agents. Beyond excited! Just waiting for the PDI to be done and the accessories to be fitted. No campaigns needed either.

awesome news, very exciting - no uninterrupted sleep for you anytime soon!

when do they expect available for pick up?

do they have the extras in-hand to fix and if not when do they expect them?

danke

The agents say they have everything so assuming all the accessories came with the car (side runners, roof bar, half height cargo barrier etc).

Just been to see mine at the dealer. VIN in the 800s, No campaigns to complete. So just waiting on PDI and registration. Hopefully collect in about a week or so. Needs a good external valet as dusty but Looks Fab!

Well I am pleased to say that the DG colour is starting to grow on me with some of these lovely photos and I am glad I went for the tinted windows. Very gangster against the grey.

It’s a good job I am starting to like the colour as it’s the one I ordered 😂

I would love Donny Grey as well (not only if I had ordered it) but to be true this also works with MM, eldoret blue, green britania blue shale blue and of course my lovely red.
Each colour, maybe even optimised by a certain contrast roof, gives the car a special identity. I more or less love the all!

I notice you don't have rock sliders or side steps. Is that something you're looking to retrofit later? Any idea how easy it is to install yourself?

No I didn't order them on purpose. I had side steps on my old defender and my current disco but I never use them to get in as it made it more awkward than just going for it. That's what handles are for right? so it seemed a waste of time to me. I also prefer the cleaner lines without and it's one less thing to hit. I noticed it is very high getting in but then the exercise is no bad thing. However it may wear the drivers seat base over time. I figure if I decide I need them in the future I can always retro fit and there will be more aftermarket options to choose from too. Sorry no, I don't know how easy it would be to fit yourself but I don't thing it would be beyond the wit of man to do yourself.

Nice comparison of Donny Grey, Inky Black and Sela Green. I grabbed this from another thread.

Don’t forget this picture in the other order. Because of the light and shadow it helps additionally

These colours and photos blow my head, I have seen the Sela green, blue and the inky black look exactly the same as your photo ND from certain angles.

I am sure in the sunlight it looks great, even if it is the only grey in the village 😆
