Don’t forget the ‘bag of sky hooks’
We call them "Siemens Lufthaken". But they have to be Siemens ones.

Usually, the salesperson then tells the apprentice, "Tell your boss that we currently only have some from Bosch."

I remember my dad sending my sister to a company in same place - about half a mile away in pouring rain .. with a plastic bucket to fill it with "compression".
Was 1st of April.. She was about 15 and grew up like me in a car workshop / garage.. she was (and still is ) a "know it all better" person.
She was really pissed off when she found out to be the April's fool. (At that time I was just 8.. but I learned to monitor my dad quite carefully at any time - and so somewhat later not to get into his footsteps) - but in IT there are similar jokes around software, users and operators. Considering the software bug.. in Grenadier.. we had a litte love bug / plush bug.. in a large office were a lot of programmers were working.. The plush bug was attached to the lad's monitor, who made the last error in an application / or failed proper testing. .. Perhaps some idea for Ineos.. when doing their testing.. (Nasty finger pointing.. this is the poor lad.. don't do that that is discrimination of person) ...
But sometimes it is motivating people not to get it.. - but bugs are. And I understand there is pressure on quality . but also the customers demanding their cars.

And some wallpapers for the monitor - to be installed for a day on the culprits PC. At least, he/she had a choice:

About the "build", for the non-IT people: the build is the process of translating the source code into machine-readable material. My last project was a collection of 5.5 million lines of source code written by dozens of developers.

Even though it's automated, it's still a pretty complicated process. And in the end, it should result in something testable. But it happens that the 'build' simply fails with an error - because someone wasn't careful enough and didn't check in some important changes. That was then a 'broken build', the most embarrassing mistake a developer can make.

Edit: typo

Sooooo… our back to basics 4x4 is being held up by software issues…. Not confidence inspiring..

Has anyone turned it on and off and back on?
