Most companies, mine included, have very strict rules for internal only documentation.
Yes, that's clear. It's the fact that it was labelled as such I find disappointing given what's been said about the project and the play made on showing prototypes in public and "sharing the adventure".

It's hard to see any defence of information that's going to form the basis of a publically available handbook/system fitting into a definition of commercially confidential such as "information whose publication might prejudice the commercial interests of individuals or companies to an unreasonable degree."

Today I was told i could look at the engine bay as much as I like but couldn't take pictures as they don't have permission to publish images of all of the engine bay components and configuration.
I have seen a lot of pictures of the engine bay but I guess what they were saying was they don't officially have permission.

That sums it up nicely. It was evident in the early days when journalists and enthusiastic YouTubers especially at the UK exhibition days reported that they'd been specifically requested not to photograph the underside nor the engine bay. In fact at one stage some of them mentioned that the engine bay was sealed from prying eyes. And fair enough too!

I told them I have a photographic memory and they said go ahead as long as you don't print or upload from your memory
Just draw something like this, as long as the bits are the right shape and in the right place we won't bag your effort :D

And that's ok. A company must be able to rely on their partners.

Otherwise they can not be partners.

Really enjoyed the opportunity to see/touch/smell all that fun stuff today. At mint Tamborine. The lads were great to talk too, the G was impressive on the rocky coarse even without front/rear lockers engaged. I liked the 2 tone leather seats and deal with the maintenance aspect. Summary. tough truck, strikes the market between 79 series and 300 series cruiser. For me a better package.
Looking forward to block out covers with the safari windows for those occasions when the sun is a little much.

Thanks “ log splitter” Yes 100% kelpie. She loved going for a ride as much as I did. Looking forward to many adventures in the Granny. Looks there will be enough room for the dog in the back on top of a draw system. 👍
Yes we’ll have a similar set up. Drawer systems but two seater version with a Collie dog in the back.

I have owned a number of 4WD's over the years but haven't done any serious off-roading for a while.
It is so impressive how easily this thing handled that track with road tyre pressures and none of the diffs locked.

As I have commented before, the cabin design & layout is good but your photos confirmed again my thoughts after spending an hour going over the interior - there are a few wrinkles in the PTO series interior to iron out.

The centre console controls (especially the round dials) were not quite fitting correctly or many were slightly loose and there was misalignment of and uneven gaps between many of the cabin panels.

It's not a design issue as I would expect the line series to correct these and a few other gremlins with final production having a higher quality control.
