Didn't realize how similar they were in length. Wheelbase looks similar too; I'll try to track down the other dimensions.

This is far from perfect as I had to use a variety of sources (and sometimes the previous model year), but I think it puts everything into perspective. I couldn't find overhang numbers on the JK or Bronco, nor could I find the tilt on the Broncos. For the JK, the width does not include the mirrors. Moreover, there are many, many factory specs for the Bronco so I mostly put the base and then used the Everglades edition numbers too. The Raptor version, which takes everything to insane levels, was ignored.

One other interesting thing - I found one graphic showing the Jeep with two tilt angles, one to the left and one to the right. That never crossed my mind, but I guess it makes sense because I doubt trucks have a 50-50 weight distribution down the centerline (offset diffs, battery, etc.).

Yes, I don't think I've seen that before either. 👍

Now I have to add corner weighting to the list of things to do when it arrives... 😉

When setting up racecar or performance car suspension it is typically set up per each corner allowing for driver, fluids, general weight distribution.
One reason why the Maclaren had the seat in the centre.

Local Motors offset engine and front occupants to the passenger side as well on their Rally Fighter.

I thought it was so you could terrify and impress 2 passengers simultaneously

It was the most expensive repair ever I believe. He didn't want it written off.

How many cars were crashed by Rowan Atkinson already ?

At least he is more an on road than an off road guy. - Unlikely..

Thursday evening I noticed an older, but well maintained Mercedes G on a supermarket car park in a town nearby next to a LR Defender 110.. lowered! But Bull bar, - protected lighting, but street tyres and racing recaros inside.. and side pipe. (real bull bars are forbidden on road since a while already in Germany) So this MB Mus
The LR was classic.. what a difference.. the G Wagon seemed tiny..

Last night my wife and I were out at https://www.mrhizolas.com.au/ at Burleigh Heads and three MB G63 AMG wagons pulled up. 4 young guys with muscles, lots of tattoos and hats on backwards hopped out of each vehicle.
looked a bit middle of eastern heritage
They came in to the restaurant, sat down, enjoyed their meal, tipped the staff (not common in Australia) paid the bill and left.
probably doctors as the cars are $250K - $500K each

I'm sure they chose the G because of its legendary off-road heritage and prowess; don't be surprised to see them on the trails.

The only people round here that drive MB G63s are footballers or their wives. And as for going off road......

In my hometown there are some AMG 63 models from C-class to G-class. The typical driver seems to be very successful in the job at a young age.
And they all pay a lot attention to their appearance as they all have very nice trimmed full beard.
