INEOS Automotive Press Forum

The Ineos Grenadier is an outstanding outlier among off-roaders Conceived six years ago in a London pub, the INEOS Grenadier 4WD wants to be the Land Rover Defender’s spiritual successor – and its competitor. But before winning over buyers, it must first conquer the wilderness. https://www.theceomagazine.com/lifestyle/automotive/ineos-grenadier-car/
2023 Ineos Grenadier review: There’s still work to be done with this workhorse https://www.hagerty.co.uk/articles/car-reviews/2023-ineos-grenadier-review-theres-still-work-to-be-done-with-this-workhorse/ The same reviewer also posts to the Daily Telegraph, reviews combined. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/cars/features/ineos-grenadier-review-perfect-reproduction-old-land-rover-defender/
My subscription copy of LRM landed this afternoon, so I add it here. Gary Pusey adding his bit to "Writers' Rovers" to cover the Grenadier. https://www.landrovermonthly.co.uk/ He seems to like it, after an initial panic about too much electrickery. There is supposed to be a YouTube video too, but at time of writing it is not up, https://www.youtube.com/@landrovermonthly7806/featured
Hi all, interesting read in the Swiss newspaper NZZ (Neue Zürcher Zeitung. Sorry it‘s in German only. Contains some nice background on the water crossing in Scotland. And positive feedback about steering and on road handling. https://www.nzz.ch/mobilitaet/ineos-grenadier-pruefung-ueber-stock-und-stein-bestanden-ld.1726387 Learned from @Tazzieman how to look behind paywall 😉: https://www.theineosforum.com/threads/build-month-and-delays.12373935/post-1333127850 Direct link: https://12ft.io/proxy?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nzz.ch%2Fmobilitaet%2Fineos-grenadier-pruefung-ueber-stock-und-stein-bestanden-ld.1726387%3Freduced%3Dtrue
We have a new champ in town. Yup, you are looking at the latest champ for… interior switchgear. Oh, were you expecting me to declare it the new off-roading champ without a direct competitor? It’s good and all, but we’ll get to that decision when the 2024 Ineos Grenadier actually lands in Canada and can duke it out with its natural competitors in our market. 'It was a cool, gray November morning when I drove up to the Overland Experts headquarters in North Carolina in a mind-numbingly dull rented Dodge Journey. What awaited me was the furthest thing from dull: no fewer than seven Ineos Grenadier prototypes, here for testing and data recording, and made available this day for a small invited group to experience on the extensive OEX driving course.' This one is for a late prototype but I thought it better homed here with the other reviews. Be sure to check out @Jonathan Hanson site for some inspiration while we're waiting for deliveries, he's also a member of the forum https://www.exploringoverland.com/overland-tech-travel/2023/1/6/ineos-grenadier-first-drive
Firstly, we tried to find a random trailer to tow-test the Grenadier. The problem was the event staff outnumbered the Press at the global launch of the hot-topic 4WD so try as we might, no mischievous plan got us what we really need to know - how does it tow? So call this a vehicle review, not a tow test but bear with us as the specs alone should have those of us looking to lug a heavy trailer around Australia interested.
