I had my first service done at Dingwall Garage last week. The service included an axle oil change. They also checked through a list of potential warranty works and have ordered a replacement tow ball and front door seals. £633 incl.VAT 👍

So, forgive my ignorance, are other garages than dealers and service partners ok to service and complete warranty work?

Buying secondhand I didn’t receive any documentation re the warranty beyond the bits in the handbook. I sort of just assumed it had to be a dealer or service partner. My only other brand new car was/is a Volvo, and came with a five year service plan - all services at a main dealer.

Just dealers & service partners. One can see them listed under service & maintenance on the Ineos website. Dingwall Garage is same category as STC & GL.

Aha! Thought it was just STC and the Edinburgh dealer.

(Mind you STC is ideal for me - my caravan is close by :) )

There is a service partner in ayr as well . I used to have a static in the trossachs park just outside aberfoyle .

I store my tourer between Stirling and Falkirk. So we use Blair Drummond site regularly - 3 miles from STC. Taking a seasonal pitch there for next year.

5pm last night passing through Stirling the heater went potty. Immediately headed across to STC seeking help (only here two nights to pick up my caravan on the way north to Orkney). Being greeted by my first name - that was a surprise - was a good start. They shuffled work and took Maggie in this morning, heater and air-con now working fine, and a couple of routine recalls dealt with. Maggie back with me by 3pm.

I have to commend their customer service with the highest praise available.

Just killed two birds with one stone at the Stirling Trailer Centre - bbq trailer in for a service and minor campaign recalls taken care of on the Grenadier. What a breath of fresh air this place is - they really couldn’t be more helpful!!
