Hi y'all, How is everyone going about putting on the front license plate? I didnt go with the winch (although now I kinda wish I had) so im assuming that would be the spot to add a bracket for the front plate (universal im guessing since I doubt they have a Grenadier specific one). Just curious what everyone is doing.

I am, my wife was pulled over outside of San Angelo for missing the front plate on my Audi, we given warning since I had the front plate in the car, told to mount it asap. Ended getting self tapping screws at Home Depot latter that day to mount it. We were on our way to Durango. so had few more mile to go in west Texas. Down here in Austin they do not care if it on or off.

I was wanting to ask the same thing. Just picked mine up and waiting for the plates. I did opt for the winch, and looking at the swing out cover, it has small notches for screws, but they seem shallow. If anybody has suggestions on this, I am open. I'll post what I do here.

Side note, I haven't had a front license plate on my Tacoma in Texas for over ten years. I've only got pulled over when I am coming back from out of state on the Colorado side. They sniff for weed, and then give me a warning.

When I went to pick up my registration at Sewell they installed a front bracket when they put the plates on. I do not have a winch either.

There was one installed on mine when I picked it up.
Additionally, I got the towing package with the front receiver and the bracket they provided for the license plate flips up and out of the way of the receiver. It is kind of slick!

Im in the same boat, I queried INEOS and found out that this is a dealer supplied item and they have been paid by INEOS to install it.

I drilled through the flip-up license plate holder and used washers, nuts and bolts to secure the plate.

Mine came with a front mount for a plate that looks to have threaded inserts for the plate. I haven't had a front plate on a vehicle in 10 years.

I haven’t gotten my front plate yet, since I just picked up my gren last Friday, but I’m hoping to skip the front plate altogether.

I was kind of hoping I could find some Euro-style long and skinny TX license plates. I looked online and lots of sports teams and groups but the same plate size / proportion. Anyone know of a way to get an official TX 'skinny' plate?

I got my front plate last week at Sewell, I just asked the service manager how folks were mounting them and said he could fix me up in a couple of minutes and about 10 minutes later it was done. I even got my aux battery hooked up finally.
