I was trying to explain to someone at cars and coffee that it's a British car (he had never heard of a Grenadier?!) but he kept asking about the decal.

I'm thinking I should just remove the French flag. Has anyone else done this?

I personally love the German/British flag decal and the French decal. Adds uniqueness to the vehicle ... Character. Gives opportunity to explain the "G" story. I recall 1 member in Europe who removed it quickly for personal reasons.

A razor blade would make quick work of it.

What is actually a British vehicle these days? The Defender is manufactured in Slovakia & JLR is owned by an Indian company (Tata).

Is it British? At least Ineos has fully British ownership & financing.

Ineos - Ineos Auto Ltd., London, England

Lotus - Geely (China)
MG - Shanghai Auto (China)
Mini - BMW (German)
Land Rover - Tata (India)
Jaguar - Tata (india)
Rolls-Royce - BMW (German)
Bentley - VW (German)
Norton - TVS (India)
Aston Martin - Various (Canadian, Saudi & German)

I once custom ordered a Bmw and waited 2 months for it to get it delivered. To my horror, i found out that it was made in South Africa. Luckily no one asked me where it was made, geez that would have been an awkward conversation.
