Welcome back. If you sold a set of Rhino Bars, I may have bought them last week. How has the first week been?
Yep that was me alright! I already had a set of Thule bars from my old 110, so you got yourself a bargain
Jumping on the motorway straight off the dealer forecourt was a bit of a baptism of fire on the Gren's unusual steering set up, but nobody died

I've covered 500 miles in the first week and I'm loving it. The Gren is exactly what I'd hoped it would be - a modern-day Defender. I bought a diesel model and was concerned that it wouldn't have enough grunt but it's definitely quick enough for this kind of vehicle with loads of torque and an excellent gearbox. I've averaged 24mpg so far but the engine is barely run in and I'm expecting that to improve. I've experienced my first EGR cycle and the fan noise was so spectacular from the vehicle on our front drive that the neighbour's curtains were all twitching. I guess they were looking to see why a Sea Harrier was landing in the garden.
The infotainment system seems a bit buggy but I just leave it on apple carplay which works really well. The aircon works OK if you leave it on 'Auto' but seems to be uncontrollable if you try to balance it manually, blowing hot even on the cool side of the dial. I'll get them both checked out in due course. Have you needed any warranty work done and if so did you get it done at G&L Marshall in Huntly? I spoke to Grange Edinburgh about the aircon and they're advising to deal directly with G&L as my local Service Centre.
