I had my Wolfbox G850 installed today. It really solves all my problems with the rear visibility. I highly recommend it. I like it much better than I envisioned.

It is wired up to the overhead console and the rear camera wires are in the rear door and take the same path as the rear window wipers so everything is completely hidden and safe.

I am attaching a few photos as well as a few videos showing how it works. You can touch the screen and move the camera up and down for visibility. It also solves ALOT of the rear blind spot issues due to the very wide angle lens that shows three lanes of rear traffic and slightly to the sides of the Ineos.

The clarity on the screen is great!

I was trying to upload some videos and the files are too large even though they are only 12 seconds.

Love it

I love the way that came out. Can you show a picture how the mirror/screen is attached to the windshield? I have been meaning to get over to the place that does all of my stereo installations for me to see what they would charge me for the unit and installation. Great job.

The mirror literally attaches to the original rear view mirror with very tight rubber straps. This way you can simply unplug the wolfbox and and take it off if you wanted to do that.

My shop charged me $350 to install it, which is expensive, but it is done very professionally, better than I would have done.

It also has a touch screen to toggle between a split screen front and rear. It has a memory card is if there is a wreck or something you push a button on the screen and save the last few minutes loop.

It is very cool and parking in my garage tonight was super easy!

Can you take a picture of the backside of the mirror so that I could see how the rubber straps connect? I guess this is a good thing becasue you can remove it if you thought there was a high chance of theft.

Here is a photo. It literally straps over the original mirror.

The OP is clearly a hooligan and I am not listening to what he has to say, he listens to Kid Rock for god sake 😂

Oh by the way I am super jealous of that install it does look well done. I think I might have been paying the company a visit if I was a little closer.

I would also be interested to hear if the extra weight on the rear view mirror makes it shake or vibrate as well.

Hi Shakey
I can confirm there is no noticeable vibration on my rear view mirror which has been affixed to the original mirror. I have had my system fitted at least 7 or 8 months and all is good.

Thanks Cheshire, I am really interested in one of these products, which I think I would end up have done professionally at the right price (read expensive)

I have two hang ups, one being the battery drain and the other being mirror shake.

I have mine mounted the same way to the existing mirror and it doesn't vibrate at all. From the drivers seat, you don't even notice that it's mounted to the existing mirror. You also don't need to use the parking hardwire kit where it records even when the car is turned off if you're concerned with battery drain. Even with the parking kit, I believe it knows when to shut down if the voltage falls below a certain threshold.
I ended up buying the anti glare film and it works perfectly. I was getting annoying glares without it.

No battery drain if wired into ignition only. I tapped into the cigarette lighter power supply, giving me the choice of switching on permanently via the overhead power switch, for car parks etc or on the ignition for normal use. It comes with two power supplies if I remember correctly. Switched and permanent. Mirror shake has been a definite, none issue.

It really works great with no shaking. No issues at all. Also, cranking Kid Rock gets rid of the ADAS system annoyances! 👍

You inspired me to order the G900 version today - they are offering a really good discount. Will upload images once I have the unit fitted.
I have the G850. I am not sure of the difference to be honest. We also got a great deal on this one. It was very affordable. I would suggest having it professionally installed, it saves a lot of headaches and trouble!

I was thinking about getting the 12" version but, after reading some amazon reviews, it may be safer to stick with the 10" version. Any significant vibration would drive me crazy.

Opps...I assumed the G850 was the 10" version. Good to hear the 12" version is stable. This company seems to have a lot of different model numbers with similar specs.
