Where can you bolt on jumper cable connector?

Is there a good place under the hood to bolt on a power connection? I'm debating between putting something like this under the hood to do a simple connection to for jumper cables or an air pump or debating using the nato outlet. I guess I'd prefer the nato outlet but A) Not sure it would be any quicker or easier since the hood is so simple to work with. B) Was reading on the issues with when the outlet can be powered on and C) don't want to have to worry about the power limitations of the outlet.

With going under the hood I could just take an anderson connector to use between different items.

I used the trailer outlet. Seems to work very well. There is a post or two on here, detailing what you want to achieve

Trailer outlet? You mean the Nato plug?
No, the trailer outlet, if you are wanting to charge the battery. Jump starting might be different, but if you want to jump start the vehicle, there are pos’ & Neg’ posts built in. Left hand side of engine bay.

So if I wanted to run a battery tender on mine, I could hook it up to the trailer connector? I think mine is up to 10A charging

I was planning to put a quick connector on the jump start posts in the engine bay but the trailer connector would work too. Is it direct wired to the battery even when all switches are off and the car is locked?

You are US spec, in the UK we have 13 pin trailer socket with permanent live pin so can use for a trickle charger. Would need to check but think the live circuit is protected by a 10A fuse, ( may higher rated on second thoughts ) so would only use a trickle charger via the trailer socket without checking

I charge my vehicle from the front. To avoid having to open the hood every time, I installed a three-pin socket in the winch mount, which is connected to the positive and negative terminals under the hood. The third wire in the socket goes to an LED below the dashboard. The charger's 12-volt plug contains a bridge from the positive wire to the LED wire. As soon as I plug the charger into the socket, the LED receives 12 volts either from the charger or from the vehicle's electrical system. This prevents me from reversing out of the garage with the charger connected.
