Hi Ineos, What Options trigger a a factory coil spring change.
Winch?
Second Battery?
Side Steps?
Rock Sliders?
Roof Rack?
Bull Bar?
Any Others?

My guess would be for different springs only to compensate for a load imbalance, such as the added weight to only the front end from items such as the Winch and Bull Bar. The other items on your list would not seem to shift the center of gravity much in either direction and would simply be weight subtracted from the original payload.

When I was at the drive event in Washington state I specifically asked this question. I was told that Ineos has 7 different coil rates. Use would be dependent upon what configuration was originally ordered

Curious to see, previous estimation updated with reference to component weights totalled with unladen weight:
  1. Petrol engine (Rate 1 front, Rate 2 back) 2618kg (2 seater) - 2643kg (5 seater)
  2. Petrol + (steel) bullbar (Rate 3/Rate 2) 2643kg + 40kg = 2683kg
  3. Diesel engine (Rate 4/Rate 2) 2693kg (2 seater) - 2717kg (5 seater)
  4. Petrol + bullbar + winch (5/2) 2643kg + 82kg = 2725kg
  5. Diesel + bullbar (6/2) 2717kg + 40kg = 2757kg
  6. Diesel + bullbar + winch (7/2) 2717kg + 82kg = 2799kg

So in summary 6 different rates for the front plus one rate for the back makes 7.

This is not peculiar to Ineos, these are the options you’d typically see on most aftermarket kits.
Will be interested to see the facts of the matter!

As per previous discussion:
  1. Petrol engine (Rate 1 front, Rate 2 back)
  2. Diesel engine (Rate 3 front, Rate 2 back)
  3. Petrol + (steel) bullbar (4/2)
  4. Diesel + bullbar (5/2)
  5. Petrol + bullbar + winch (6/2)
  6. Diesel + bullbar + winch (7/2)
So in summary 6 different rates for the front plus one rate for the back.

For the US market we will not get the petrol + bulbar + winch. We will however get the steel bumpers + winch and that I believe is the 7th configuration

We need to complete the survey of delivered vehicles that you started @DCPU, when we have the steel fronts delivered. Absent access to proper specs etc.

Three wouldn’t surprise me when one looks at the weights listed above, see my edit.
