I’m looking for feedback on PPF installers in the western Washington region. I’ve been to a handful of shops for quotes in the last couple months and most had not done a Grenadier yet. It’s a unique vehicle to wrap with all the various trim, exposed door hinges, etc.

If you have relevant personal experience having PPF installed on your Grenadier in Western Washington, please reply with the following:
1) Name of the business you used?
2) What services you were performed?
3) What name brand product did they install?
4) How long did it take to schedule and perform the work?
5) Cost?
6) Are you happy with the quality of the product?

Are you aware of Avantis? They are a car club that has a range of people from Ferrari to Golf hot hatches. They even have a off road group which is newer. Anyways, you can join the facebook group ans they will give you a list of great installers. If you join the physical club, I have not bit will once my QM shows up. You get big discounts on everything from tires to wraps to detailing. Take look at their web page

I’ve heard of Avants but am not a member. Thanks for the heads up on the discounts. I’ll have to check them out.

We had Ben at Eastside Auto Salon do a full PPF wrap minus the roof on our Trialmaster. Very pleased with Xpel Stealth self-healing PPF. Photo of our 958 with over 150k principally off-road miles and the Xpel self-healing still works. Also had them put a sheet of film on the windshield to help w chips & cracks.

Metropolitan Detail- Stek tint, PPF and Ceramic. These guys are the OG high end PPF and detail shop. I have seen anything from a Model Y to multi million Ferraris in their shop.

Few weeks out.

In the Grenadier I did not PPF anything but the door sills. They did a paint prep and CQuartz reserve ceramic.

I have had full cars PPF and it was $7500-10k depending on the car. They have a 10mm film if you want to go gonzo.

Tint all around and windshield protection film.

I just don’t think that PPF makes sense anymore when it costs more than 10% of the value of the car. I have seen them do $6k PPF on $25k Corolla’s though.
