Hello Grenadieres,

I am planning to give my Grenadier an entire body protection film and tint the car glasses against scratches and to maintain the car's color.
What are your recommendations for hot weather regions? And do I really need it?

Do NOT ppf it in the GCC. My defender had a small scratch, when I removed the 2 year old PPF to replace it, it took the paint right off with it.

Yet another reason not to buy a Defender.

It’s good advise I should have read this before I handed over my car to the shop.
Would you remember what ppf brand was used?

Haha. In Western Australia I’ve found that the old Defender sheds its paint automatically😳.

I like the idea of PPF but as a planned long term owner concerned about the long term effects.

I recommend to PPF the grenadier especially if you will take it regularly to the desert just for the peace of mind. Pick a high-quality place that offers a long-term warranty on the ppf. I personally went with Zu Gluhen, they have a branch in D3.
