Is this a good thing to have?   I have it in my spec for now but am wondering what I will use it for?

Does anyone have it as a "must have" or a "really nice to have" and do you plan to do with it?

Cheers, Mike

@mikemike39: I would save the money. If I were you, I would take tension belts and fix them in airline rails. I have been using this successfully for years.

For me, it's a nice to have, I think it would be useful to carry some rotopax on the rare occasions where I need the extra diesel. I am hoping that the aftermarket or Ineos will make mounting brackets and other accessories  to make use of the utility belt but will hack together what I need if that doesn't happen.

Such brackets are IMO not Ineos specific. You can buy various types of them from the accessory market.

Rotopax is available….

Thats for the Rhino Rack tray whereas the “utility belt” is an L-track.

I think it also works for the normal racks.

I put it in my tentative build mostly due to the "what if...?" factor. They seem extra useful for those who want to film their own trips. I also imagined table attachments being able to quickly and easily be posted on the doors under a roof-mounted shade structure for sandwich making, waterfowl processing, tool holding etc.

I just wish the door was smooth if you don't choose them, for ease of washing & waxing. It appears that if you don't get them there is still a strip to cover the unused option...?... makes me want to just get them and see what 3rd party comes up with... could be some pretty nifty options.

I also see dirt accumulating in them. Nothing the occasional pressure wash can't fix.
