Interesting that they're designating those deliveries "2022" model year Grenadiers.
I had the same thought, but I think elsewhere it's about when the car is registered/gets its plate. Not sure though.

Some of the december builds have had the longer batch and hold process. Its conceivable they are 2022 cars.

I am moderately confident that all Grenadiers are MY23 (that have been built/delivered to this point)

The term model year might be significant to you, im not sure. The 2022 built cars, and there definitely are some, are the same spec/design etc as those being built now, excepting quality improvements. ‘MY24‘ cars will clearly start sometime this year, in order to arrive in the US at year end, where you guys have been promised both my24 and 2023 delivery. The MY thing im less familiar with here, people just tend to focus on the compliance plate date of manufacture; maybe that’s because we are seasonally out of synch with northern hemisphere, and have long shipping delays.
i know there have been people with 2022 build cars still in batch and hold, watching more recent builds complete that process and be delivered. Frustrating, but obviously because early cars required more rectification.

The model year will be on the compliance plate and you have zero say in what it says.
2022 vehicles may be collectors cars.
No, they will be 12 months old the day you take them. If it arrived in August / September as 22 compliance, I would reject it.
