Just put two USB ports in the Greny either side of the gearbox tunnel, wired in front and back dash cam and front fog lights

Do tell about those lights!
They are Denali D3's with the Denali automotive wiring harness.
They are mounted behind the front bash plate and project through the mesh, the switch is by my right knee (RHD vehicle) i positioned it there because that's where the last one was and not in the centre consul, dont want to be drilling holes in that.

When are you fitting mine ? Looks great buddy.

As a matter of interest, why the separate switch for the lights ?

Do you not have the overhead panel, couldn’t use the switches, or purely didn’t want the switch overhead ?

Any feedback on wiring in the dash cam?
one of the dealers on the various FB groups posted that they take a feed for any dashcams from either one of the roof panel switches Labelled Int. 1 & 2. These are wired to switch the footwell power outlets and really close to where you want the camera and leave no bloody wires trailing across the dashboard from the internal USB ports.

How did you route through the firewall?
Behind the plastic inner front wing on drivers side RHD vehicle is an unused factory grommet in the firewall, possibly for winch control (y)

The dash cam has a feed directly to the aux battery so that the cameras work in parking mode. routed up the pillar under roof lining and out by the rear view mirror then the return to rear of the roof down the rear pillar and in the big door.

So do I 👍just a little too short 🤣🤣I need to move them out, just not quite enough coverage of the road

They look nice :)
How was the wiring and space around that area to do some DYI?
There is not a lot of room between the bash plate and rad. The wiring harness came from the fog light makers.

Pulled loads off the car today and can't find a "spare" gromet anywhere! Oh well, back to the drawing board. I've very tempted to put a new hole through the firewall with a new grommet.

Given that this car is all about "adventures", I find it extremely frustrating that they haven't left somewhere specifically for the antenna cable, or any other cable for that matter, to get through the firewall.

Where are you looking?

There's 3 alone is this one area...
