The one thing that hits me is 99% of the photos are off-road, instead of the usual slew of mall crawler photos and a couple of off road ones in most manufacturer brochures. Love it. They leave no doubt in the language and verbiage. Marketing people rarely target me....but when they do....

You can't do a load capacity on a cab chassis.
There is nowhere to put a load until you put something on the back.
What is needed is a more accurate overall weight for the cab chassis.

Surely you can? Toyota provide the details of their cab chassis sans tray. I can't see why IA can't. This way you can effectively determine what tray/canopy you can fit.

If they have no idea what you are going to mount on the rear, the length, overhang, strength etc how could they possibly give a load rating??
They can only give estimates or examples.

Cab chassis weight minus GVM = load rating. So...potentially the Quartermaster has a Tare weight of 2500kgs, that gives a load rating (capacity) of 1050kgs. What IA are not supplying us with is the tare weight of the cab chassis. Toyota give 2 numbers depending on weather a tray (aluminium) is fitted or not.

@Tx246 That is devil red and it was added for 2025 models. Also, the default color is now BB.

Two different vehicles. I don't think they belong in the same brochure. It's like putting an F150 and an Expedition in the same brochure. But the pictures are cool.

Cab chassis weight minus GVM = load rating. So...potentially the Quartermaster has a Tare weight of 2500kgs, that gives a load rating (capacity) of 1050kgs. The AUS NB1 Cab Chassis (base trim) Petrol has a kerb weight of 2,446kg & the Diesel has a kerb weight of 2,527kg both including 90% fuel tank full & all other fluids at the correct level.
The total gross weight of both versions is 3,550kg
Higher trim levels do have a higher kerb weight. E.g. Trialmaster with dual battery, tow pack, additional wiring, RAI, KO2 tyres, diff locks, smooth pack, all adds approx. 100kg.

Reaching the PDF version of the brochure makes me wonder who wrote the thing. Seems like very page is just a rehash of the same thing, and is mostly made up of name dropping of component manufactures used.

Some favorite excerpts (errors I hope):

"Four Roof Rails to strap up to 20lb of gear." - Wow, a whole 20 lbs..
"and optional factory-installed, integrated, high-performance Winch¹ for 2,125 pound of winching power**." - Most ATV winches are rated higher LOL

Nice, that gives the Cab Chassis a tonne payload, add a gvm upgrade and its a winner
