We are missing the bull bar and the gull wings.   It looks like the gull wings did not make the cut everywhere else.  I figure US buyers will need to buy the Bull bar from the AUS site and have it shipped to the us.   The gull wings looks like the aftermarket will need to come up with a solution.

Probably can’t pass pedestrian crash test. I don’t think every market is getting steel bumpers for that reason

What are gull wings?

I agree, like Paachi said this maybe a group bit to keep the freight cost down.  So steel bumper and roo bar.  I also would think ARB or someone like that will put one together.   The ease of integration might move this along to the point it's available here in the US.

1. The wings of a gull
2. A particular design of aircraft wings
3. A typo meaning "gull windows"

It is attached to the standard steel bumper not a replacement as is usual.
This means the airbag triggers  and parking sensors are untouched and work as normal.
Also instead of a normal weight of around 60kg it should be no more than 20-25kg

Got it.  I agree.  Gull wing windows would have been nice.

What about the rear roof alpine windows? I don’t see those as an option either.

Don't think they ever were an option. When you watch the manufacturing videos, the cavities are double skinned, and built into the bodywork of the vehicle.

Also, I can imagine it could have been a sticking point in the court battles with JLR

I can’t believe I missed that. Makes sense.

That’s because it isn’t a 40 year old land rover

Very aware of that. If I wanted that I would buy a classic. No need to be that way.

But in fourty years it will be a forty years old Grenadier - and still no gull wing windows.

And I will be 105 yrs. old, be it dead or alive.

Another reason for no alpine windows is a structural requirement of roofs today.  In the current series of Defenders, they were able to add them because of the monocoque frame.   My understanding is based on new crash requirements a traditional roof with alpine windows would have failed.   Ineos made the lashing bars integrated into the frame.
