Trailer hitch wireing

Anyone figure out how to hook up the wireing for the tow hitch if it was not an installed option.

I saw the wires and a plug in the right rear quarter panel so it just has to be figuring out the right ones.

I am also thinking about just making a small battery box with switches and hook the trailer up to this..

Apparently not as simple as assumed. I'd have to go back and read the trailer hitch threads to be sure but wasn't part of the North America issue because of software conflicts v. simple wiring loom manufacturing errors?

If you find a source for the connectors please post up.

I am just going to make a small battery powered box or plug into the 12v outlet with remote control relay stitches. Seems so much easier right now.
