I guess this is more of a tips and tricks post and this may not be the right location for it but I think it's a good spot for this type of post.
I use my grenadier a lot in places where there are rattles and vibration. Think Rocky trails in the West Coast Sierra's. I always find some bolts and nuts that needs a bit of tightening.
I basically worry about nuts and bolts vibration loose in critical locations. I use vibratite on a lot of my gear and it works well.
My brother is a mechanical engineer, working and designing high value industrial equipment. He has been super happy with a specialty washer from Nord lock.
The washer basically requires twice the torque to loosen the washer as it takes to lock it in place. And it's not friction based so there is no worry about losing performance with wd40 or grease on the surface on the bolt. My brother raves about it (no affiliation). It's a bit more money at about 50c a washer but for the performance I think it's worth it.
I'm using this on roof rack equipment and other high vibration areas.
This video is pretty good, shows you the performance vs friction based approaches like nylock or spring rings.
McMaster carr carries them. They do come in black oxide stainless steel.
I figured you guys may find it useful for any critical application.

How It Works
Tension creates a self-locking bolt. Nord-Lock washers secure bolts with tension instead of friction.
