Last night we had some pretty decent raiin, not a deluge but enough to make the car lease. The back door is leaking at the gasket above the rear windshield wiper and the front windshield is leaking either at the windshield gasket or at the roof top GPS antenna between the skylights. I have no standing water around the gaskets of the skylights. Further, when the HVAC runs for a while I have water (condensation) that drips from the heater vents at my feet.

These sissues may seem trivial but they are a pain in the A _ _. and the fact that the water from the front is dripping directly onto the electrics and screen below drives me up the wall. Any one else experiencing these same leaks?

Statistically leaks are the most common warranty issues across all cars, so not a major concern. Mine has water in the footwell too!

Not a chance the defender is dry! 😂

In all seriousness though… my wife’s discovery 5 completely shut down on the road because the front windshield had a leak nobody could see, but made its way to the passenger floorwell - where it caused a module to fail. Car was completely bricked until the module was replaced. This is what scares me about water and modern vehicles.

You are SOOOO correct, I should have added a footnote to that one, but I expected that to be an unstated exception! Great fun though. I love it but need to make room for other toys....so, if anyone is interested in a 1997 Land Rover 110 with the bigger diesel, give me a shout. Left hand drive lived in Spain.
