I absolutely get what this guy was saying about the Gren. It is not the vehicle for everyone, but a vehicle for some, and those some will know when they jump into one and take it for a drive. I truly have fallen in love with mine, and look forward to driving it, every time I get in it. I dream about it at night sometimes too, visit this forum basically daily, and plot what next purchase to put on it. I'm even more excited to drive it now I've done a wheel alignment and centering, and the TPMS sensor issue is done. It feels gosh darn fantastic to drive!
My previous vehicle (an Amarok) never filled me with this kind of drive. Sure, it was comfy to drive, and had oodles of storage, and oodles of power, but I'd not ever considered using it's offroad capability, or go explore unknown tracks. I'd not considered upgrades. Sadly, it just became a vehicle that I never used the full capabilities of.
This Gren though has lit a fire up under my butt, and demands me to get out there and go visit places I'd long forgotten about, I'd not ever seen before, and that I wouldn't have dared think about attempting. I'm off on a trip down to Geelong, Victoria, Australia, from Sydney next week, so I'll drive down there in one day via the freeway. But then to get back home I'll spend 3 days driving back country roads, and maybe a dirt track or two in between.
