The key to the install appears to be the gasket, how do you think they made it? Is it cut down from a larger piece of rubber, a glued linear strip (looks like a join at the top) or 3D printed from TPU? Would TPU be robust and last in this location where its going to be hit with moisture and other crud regularly?

i am debating on doing something similar but keeping all the original wiring ( not a fun of cutting original plugs off ) i am struggling to find the actual power rating of the ax lights and the fuse they are powered from . Anyone has any ideas?
