Hello friends, taking advantage of some things I had at home, some supports from the Chinese, I started to make some ski racks and in my humble opinion it turned out quite decent. I detail the steps in case you decide, super simple and very economical.
- Clamps / Supports 6, €10 on Aliexpres
- Basket to support the Skis made of 2 mm iron that was at home, I just had to fold it.

Ski attachments €37 per pair en Amazon

I have 4 units to spare (I repeated the purchase) if anyone is interested we will surely reach an agreement

Some metric 10 screws, a little spray paint for the rails
and a couple of hours of work.
And this is the result:

Great! I am thinking about the same solution and ordered clams so far.
Now I have some more ideas to finish the work.
For me the basket should be as deep as possible to ensure that the tips of the ski do not show over the edge of the roof.
How many cm do you have from the bottom o the basket to the roof with your solution?
Regards

Hello Bemax, from the bottom of the basket to the edge of the ceiling (without Protruding) I have 120 cm, you could still lower the bottom of the basket up to 10 cm more, but you would have the risk that when opening the small door you would have to be careful To avoid touching the corner of the rear bumper, the corner is higher than the center of the bumper. Greetings Paco

To give you an idea of "how much" they protrude from the ceiling, 150 cm skis

Thanks for the picture!
Unfortunately my ski will be at 170 cm. So I have to find a way to bring them down twenty to thirty cm.
Thinking about what you propose, if you do something similar to what I did, the solution can be quite simple, you have to take into account:

- from the base of the rear bumper to the roof line you have 129 cm
- with my type of solution the support tray needs 8 cm of
separation of the line from the step to be aligned with the
fixation.
- with those 8 cm the tray remains slightly behind the
bumper but without exceeding the line marked by the wheel
spare, therefore you can lower the basket from the
separation supports with some type of plate (yellow lines)

I don't know if that will be enough for you, of course they will have to stick something out from the top or the basket will be very close to the ground. Greetings Paco

Me alegra haber despejado tus dudas. Saludos Paco
