Service notification

I have a grenadier in Italy, it was the first apparently. We currently have no dealers or service points in Tuscany but this is hopefully due to change shortly.
Something that doesn’t affect performance or anything like that is that I get a really annoying notice of when the next service is due, 7000km in my case, flashing on the screen every 12 seconds and it stays there for 12 seconds! I’m told it’s normal. Is it really?

You can disable it, until your next ignition start that is, when it returns.
When it is displaying, highlight it by pressing the end button on the LH steering wheel stalk. Once highlighted press the button again, then immediately select one of the main menu options- Home, Audio, Offroad, Device or Setting. The screen will revert to your chosen option and the reminder will disappear until your next ignition on. A pain on short journeys but useful for a longer journey
