Would underbody protection put a stop to that?
I do have a tracker fitted

I've not heard of any thefts, but then again the IG isn't very desirable for the organised crime groups, either for resale in Russia/Africa or for parts.

Yes, the cat isn't easy to access so little risk there.

That's why we have insurance. I do have a tracker. But stealing a Grenadier and breaking for spares won't be worthwhile vs landrover because of the lack of numbers out there. I suspect the biggest risk will be joy riders. And that reminds me I need to renew my shotgun licence :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Aren't the UK government looking at not allowing firearms to be kept at home. I'm sure as a farm you would have some kind of workaround but it probably will mean you won't be able to keep it 'under the bed' (in it's safe of course).

Just done, before the (vast) increase🙂

Not to hi-jack but what shotgun shells are you allowed?…buckshot (00), birdshot?

Our government are going to regulate that they are filled with feathers so that you don't hurt anything you are shooting at, true story, honest 🤣

About theft and the build in alarm. I already mentioned somewhere. But, the alarm is not working on the driver side.
Just do the check. I did't with the windows open. Lock the car and wait a 10 minute until all electronics go to snooze mode. Open the door. In my case, the drivers side doesn't activate the horn. The other doors will react and set the alarm off.
Told this in time to my dealer. They tried it on their own cars and demo's and it seems to be the same result. Alarm is not functioning.

Make me think of it to bring this issue back on topic with my dealer. to find a solution. (I honestly have forgotten to mention this again last time when the car went in for service)

Let me know what the results are on your cars. Mine is a Y23, so maybe this issue is not on the Y24 - Y25 models.

Hadn't heard that about not keeping firearms at home. I presume they are looking at firearms and not shotguns. There are 3 different certificates, FAC, Shotgun and air rifle. ( I hold all three) so I suspect it will be the FAC that will be the contentious issue. That would be difficult round here ( because of the numerous forests) there are a lot of deer 🦌 hunters with FAC.

What you would refer to as buckshot. Different sized pellets available based on your quarry, type of game.

I wonder is it something to do with the window being left open the alarm isn't activated on that door. Close the drivers window, open a rear window, lock it and try again with a rear door. Does the same thing happen with a rear door. Ergo the open window being open is the issue.

For a shotgun : SG licence, birdshot only
For rifle above basic air rifle: FAC firearms licence ( you have to justify use, have 2 referees, give access to medical records...
