Nith Inshore Rescue takes on Ineos Grenadier as search and rescue vehicle

Nith Inshore Rescue – one of the busiest lifeboat stations in Scotland - has taken on the first blue-light emergency response Grenadier in the UK.

Looks great, a perfect vehicle for the job and a worthy replacement for the old Defenders these organisations used.

Can't see them using new Defenders (and l say that as an owner of one) while the new Defender would no doubt do the job the Grenadier is just so fit for purpose there's no other vehicle really.

Looking at the photo above, seems like it was made to be liveried up with the stickers, it actually enhances the look of the vehicle

The Grenadier is starting to be taken on by these organisations. The new Defender, while perfectly capable, is less of a utility vehicle and not as suitable.

Our local mountain rescue has two Grenadiers on the way. Their Defenders are over twenty years old and while still okay have done their time really.
