It should communicate, as generic OBD2 coding is the same across all vehicles. Some of the specific read outs may not yet have programmed PIDs, but otherwise should be possible in the future.
I saw that John @ Owl had a Lufi OBD2 gauge in lieu of the telltale display in some photos posted
I temporarily installed the Scangauge II from my Toyota.
Things so far:
1. I intentionally triggered a steering/check engine warning by quickly starting-stopping-starting stopping the engine, then tried to reset it via the Scangauge. The reset does not work.
2. DCT codes compatible with BMW/ZF from scangauge website do not work.
3. Some built in gauges work - consumption is reported ok-ish (needs adjustment with refills), RPM, speed, voltage. No boost reading.
