So Automotive News publish monthly sales figures for Europe showing figures by manufacturer and model. July's figures just came out:

And again, as for the last few months there's been nothing for Ineos.

So I emailed them, not expecting much, but got a nearly instant response saying they would add them to next month's figures. They've also gone back to the dataset and extracted these figures for me:

Jan - 2
Feb - 8
March - 3
April - 111
May - 315
June - 397 (no sweden)
July - 266 (prelim - 90% reported)

I'll have to check the "sales" bit, it may be taken from "1st registrations" or it just may be that there were a few VIP sales before the great unwashed got theirs?

Anyway, top notch customer services from Automotive News. 👌👏

Assuming 700 of that figure came to UK, 47 doesn't sound that bad. I expect at least half of those for sale is with the intention of making a profit. No one seems to just want their money back.

Don't forget the "hard way home guys and girl", that should account for at least 3 in the early months.

Interesting figures, wonder what the UK supply figures are, as mentioned elsewhere the 47 of Autotrader is a huge percentage of those supplied.

Amended: 49 for sale on Autotrader.
Have a look at those 47 and some are genuine but lots look fake.
Quite a few that have only done 10 miles.
Delivery miles would be more than that.
Then there's another bunch that have done 200 miles but this is the picture
One for sale with pictures straight from the configurator and it has done 1 mile.
Someone is selling one for an ex army captain who first registered it in 1993 and has only done 1 Mile.
Apparently he placed an order in 2021, about a year before the rest of us were able to!!

Up to the end of July, 521 Ineos Grenadier were registered in the UK .. 93 in July alone, and Ineos have a .05% uk market share. This is SMMT data for passenger cars only however. I can’t dig out the LCV data, but Ineos registered 94 “vans” in July. I think 60% of the orders were for vans, so they’ve got to be over 1500 Grens on the road including both derivatives.

This does assume that individual vehicles were correctly registered! 1500 to date in the UK seems like a lot of vehicles per dealer, if correct ‘tis very encouraging.

The SMMT website is worth a trawl. It could be that I’m double counting.

1500 uk sales to date and i still have only seen one other on the road :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
