As these are supposed to be easily removable, has anyone come across dedicated stowage option for them if removed. I.e some chocks on the backs of the front seats or in the boot somewhere etc?

Hi Not sure where they stow but here is an image of one removed note drain hole Sir Jim must have suffered from "wet neck" a Land Rover sunroof problem of old.

Aaah the ol' wet neck when taking a bend or bump!

Ps tks for the photos

THIS is why I loathe sunroofs. Damn nuisance in my G Wagen too. Get clogged over time and then we neck or wet footwell. I can’t wait to seal off the sunroof in my G Wagen. I most definitely will be ordering my Grenadier without the safari windows. Also my bald pate will bake without a blocker for the glass ?

Another question bothering me regarding the safari windows: when the sun is up high, how to protect against the heat? Sunshine roofs usually have some sort of blind that one can draw out (I hope it's understandable what I mean...). Does anybody know how it will be in the IG?

There is, AFAIK, no such window shade by Ineos. Have to wait for aftermarket or try to DIY.

Magnetic solution, rubber vacuum cups or the like ...

Thanks emax and ECrider...I guess I will see how it goes and whether it's really gonna be an issue. Or I will just get a huge sun hat ??

After seeing these first hand I will not be adding them to my order. Windows of this construction always fail. Anyone with experience on a boat would agree.

I have a good welding machine. And superglues can nowadays as well solve a lot of problems. ;-)
And a five year warranty is a backup.

You see: I am an optimist. *)

*) The difference between an optimist and a pessimist: The optimist believes that we live in the best possible world. And the pessimist is afraid, that the optimist is right.

I like to imagine myself with a sunroof, moon roof, safari window, etc. The reality is that I rarely use them and in most off-roading vehicles, I wind up putting a rack up there and then never use it. My thought is: rack or safari windows. I'm going with the former.
