I've got about 400 miles on my new Grenadier and noticed that the trim bolts are all starting to rust. Anyone else had this problem? I am fine with buying some new bolts rather than heading back to the dealer. Anybody know of any aftermarket suppliers offering a more rust resistant option?

ps. As I write this, the Grenadier is getting the Audison "plug and play" upgraded sound system installed. I'll report back when it is done.

thanks!

I've got the air track on mine. I did think of replacing those, so will have a look tomorrow as I agree they need changing to something more durable.

Like to know more about your Audison upgrade.

It's funny you mention... literally the first thing I noticed on a Grenadier when I saw it in person was corroded hardware on the windscreen frame. I posted to a Defender site, recalling the same experiences in 1993, 1994, and 1995 when shopping Defender 90s and 110s new.

I don't like rust on any new car! Defect it with the dealer.
The dealer is about an hour away. I can order new bolts online for a few bucks, so I am just being lazy. I will let you know what replacements I order. I will also update on the audison install. It is a pretty big job, but will certainly be worth it.
