For all the following roof cargo carrying options what are the:
  • Max dynamic load on road?
  • Max dynamic load off road?
  • Max static load?

please provide the above load limit for the following roof cargo carrying options that are options sold by Ineos for the Grenadier
  1. Cargo strapped directly onto the roof, supported only By the roof with no rack
  2. Cargo strapped to the optional Full-length roof rack
  3. Cargo strapped to the optional 6F roof rack (3/4 length roof rack)
  4. Cargo strapped to the optional Cross-bars roof rack

This does not answer the question, page 42 does not give dynamic for Option 1, does not give answer for option 3 or 4

this is an EXCELLENT question! Very well put. One of the unique features the Grenadier offers (not on Wranglers and Broncos) is a sturdy & complete roof. The Old Defenders had folks sitting up on top when they were parked! I always marveled at that engineering feat.... The ND is not like the old, and in the US the ND has a glass roof. That's good for nothing but worry if you plan on loading it, but their ND market in the US seems to be looks, not function, otherwise they would be offering a re-enforced roof - not glass!? In other ND markets - like Australia & Ireland - buyers can absolutely still order the full, solid roof, so it's more about JLR figuring that US buyers don't use the roof racks anyways, so who is going to notice if their roof is made of glass?!
