A pretty impressed Mr Dahl just posted a new YouTube video on his loan Grenny. He is amazed at some of the tech and what it can actually do. As per the norm he will fit bigger tyres to this which will make it even more of a weapon.

I am sure someone else can post a link to it here.

Obviously he wasn't watching any of the very early video's.
The Austrian Ineos driver put it in low range unlocked on a bitumen road and got up to 80 kmh.
I think that was in Budapest some time in 2022??

Some good feedback for INEOS on the offroad setup in the car.

The car performed well, as he did not have many criticisms. He pushed it hard.

I think that car will go back and be a demonstrator, not sure I would want it after Ronnie finished with it.

It appears as if his OFFROAD button immediately activates Offroad mode. This is not how my truck works. We have to hold the button, then wait until it flashes, and then hit it again, and acknowledge a pop-up on the center console.

Might have been editing, but I wasn't closely paying attention.

Its LED is off and he presses it and it goes on. Our trucks, if it is off, you have to hold it down for a few seconds, then it flashes, then you can hit it a final time to enable the mode, and the LED goes solid.

Yeah that's how it is on all of them. He actually describes the same process on the podcast episode released on Friday.

I have to push and hold for about 1 second, then release it and it flashes.
Then push it briefly again to confirm.

He is a diehard Toyota fan. He has to decide which of his 70 series to sell and he is struggling with that decision. He would go bonkers if he put the QM into the mix. :)

Especially since it seems like the 79 will be the one to go.

A large part of his chanel is doing up/modifying vehicles.
I can see him getting a Quartermaster cab/chassis in about 18 months time.
I will also be very surprised if Ineos don't make use of the quartermaster long wheelbase chassis and make a troopy out of it.
If they do that in the two seat utility version he can put the pop top roof on it.
You could fit that and still have the safari windows if done right.
