Hi,

A friend is planning an offroad trip tomorrow with her Garmin device.

I asked her if she could record it using the Grenadier Breadcrumb tool then save the file to share with other Grenadier users.

Then wondered if there was a resource section where users can share there offroad adventures/notes.

Would be great if we had a library in our resources section for this ????

Might need some way to sort geographically, difficulty, etc. as well to make it easier to search ???

Thoughts/Comments ????

Cheers,
Chook :-)

Are you familiar with wikiloc? Thousands of trails where you can download gpx files (as waypoints) which you can use on the Pathfinder section.
Many users have written up their experiences and provided photos.

Not a bad Idea at all. Not sure how best to distribute them though. To start with maybe just a simple post titled Australian Breadcrumb trails and individual posts ofr each trail.?

Also the Grenadier pathfinder system will read any gpx format file containing waypoints, So they can be recorded/created by another device or app, provided it can export a gpx way point file. Which reminds me I need to do some testing to see how the Grenadier pathfinder function handles a gpx file that also has routes and tracks in it as well as waypoints.

Cheers
Steve
