From another thread in this forum:
I asked them at the Seattle event tonight. The way it stands now they plan to open orders to all reservation holders in the US at the same time so there isn't a benefit to any range of reservation or invoice numbers.
They are random numbers that you get so that it hides the real data from competitors .

Just bumping this thread. Wondering if this is still the case. I would think that they would produce chronologically based on reservation date at least. Here's mine:

RESERVATION #0005262862 September 29, 2021

If a legitimately large percentage of deposit placers are backing out, I'm sure those numbers will be all out of whack.

The reservation time is more important than your number. Since I posted the information above it was announced that the chronological order is how they've decided to prioritize delivery for the US. If you got your reservation in relatively early and convert to an order within the first month when they open you should expect delivery this year.

I reserved on day one (29/09/2021) and my number is in the 0005262500 range. So it doesn’t seem that too many were reserved over quite a long stretch of time. Quite a few the first day and then they trickled in over time. I heard the 5,000 “hand raiser” number repeated over and over last year by the Ineos US rep. That seems about right based on the range of numbers

Given the updates down here in OZ about our 'delay to production' - I would say Reservation number for Non-EURO reservation holders might mean SFA.

I put my hand up in Oct 13 days later and my (1st) "order number" was about 11 thousand higher...5273xxx. then I opted to upgrade to a " no frills" Trialmaster in Nov after the lux car tax was dropped... and my number changed to 5292xxx some 30 thousand higher..i.e. further down the number queue... however all info from the Bris dealer is that it's waiting on a dock for shipping allocation. So possibly the original hand raiser date is a major consideration coupled with production availability of various options...
Who knows?

Cool. I hope I’m one of the earlier ones in the queue.
