Does anyone know if you can easily replace the silver pop rivets for black? I have the black aluminium rivets however I assume the back will drop off into the guard once drilled out and I’m not sure how to retrieve them without removing the guard? Has anyone done this easily?

Here are the rivets and tool I used to convert silver to black. Everything worked well and looks proper now.

Good idea. Where did you get the 12mm rivets? The linkup site on amazon has 14mm and 10mm but I don't see the 12mm.

AMAZON. Linkup 140pcs pack 3/16'' x 1/2'' Black pop blind Rivets, 4.8mm x 12mm Black pop rivets,Aluminum Body Steel Mandrel Rivets (Black),Dome Head aluminum rivets

I sealed recessed rivet area with leftover hardtop black MOPAR PXF touch up. Looks clean and hopefully will hold up better than coloring. It was very easy to do, less than an hour to do both sides.
