Here's what I decided to do to create more storage when exploring. Fits nicely. Will be building a small platform underneath to house the ladder for FSR hardtop tent.

Tell me about those boxes. I have never seen them before
The are only sold by Lowes in the USA (store & online) they are Toughbuilt by Stacktech. I just finished the platform (see photo) and it fit nicely and gives us room to store all our kitchen, hiking shoes and other travel stuff. We still have room for other essentials.
