Anyone take off the rear bumper and have pictures and order of how to take it off? I’. Particularly interested in taking the corners off.
I’m interested too. Got my first trail damage today backing up. Mudflap got stuck between the tire and rock in reverse and ripped it off, bending the bumper down and back in the process. Btw, these bumpers are tinfoil, someone needs to develop a steel rear bumper!Anyone take off the rear bumper and have pictures and order of how to take it off? I’. Hi Zartoon, Thanks for the photo. Is that a loose body mount at the top right of the first photo?I took it off. Pretty straight forward. The corner comes off easily. The design is great.
I need to replace my rear corner pice. How is it held into place? Does the side marker stay in place or come out with the bumper?I took it off. Pretty straight forward. The corner comes off easily. The design is great.
The bumper is meant to bend a bit to stop the damage being transferred onto the frame and other components of the vehicle.I’m interested too. Got my first trail damage today backing up. Yeah I don’t want it to bend, the sub structure and crush cans are for that. I need a strong bumper that I can use to slide over and off of rocks. Added benefit is utter destruction of the other car with minimal damage to my own. My bumpers on my jeep saved me thousands of dollars in repairs, not to mention protected me and my wife in an accident that could’ve been more severe had we not had steel bumpers. The bumper is meant to bend a bit to stop the damage being transferred onto the frame and other components of the vehicle.
That is part of the crash structure.
Maybe this?I’m interested too. Got my first trail damage today backing up. Mudflap got stuck between the tire and rock in reverse and ripped it off, bending the bumper down and back in the process. Btw, these bumpers are tinfoil, someone needs to develop a steel rear bumper!
