As a long time Mercedes owner, after my last 2018 S class required new fuel injectors with 35K miles on the odometer and looking at the new S class that's entirely plastic laminate, I can tell you that they fell off the moment they made the C class visually indistinguishable from their S class, Volkswagen gold looking S class EV, and ruining their GT branding by throwing it on an E-class with the GT43-63, and now charging more for vehicles that are designed for offroad but will break while you drop off the kids at carpool.
