That said, with inflation I was fully expecting there would be a hike at some stage. My only gripe would be if after placing a deposit the price changes, not a deal breaker but I think that would be “the right thing” to do for those that have made the commitment.

So I can predict the next price increase after the pending one.

The point was that the increase was in the discussion here four weeks ago and was "predicted" not to come within two weeks from then but shortly after. And that's almost spot on.

Quite ~ there's still only the one post referring to RSA on that particular FB group. It could of course be just a OTR/tax adjustment due to local market laws... a LCT type of thing, only in reverse.

Seems a good thing though, if true, to be ringing around initial reservation holders to see if they want to beat the increase. I hope all agents would do that when the jump comes.

Whether it’s a rumour or true, it will definitely come. I think we can all agree on that.

If it’s 10-12%, I may ask Emax to pick my weekly lottery numbers, as he has called it previously.

At the moment I will take solace that the agent involved is implying if you have an order you are immune to the pay increase.

After the “good news” email stating my IG was delayed by 3 months, I don’t need a “fantastic news”, your new Grenadier is only going to cost an extra 10% email !!

I think my reply email would be “simply marvellous news”, I just bought a new Ford Ranger.

At the moment though, the majority of us are in the, I’m alright jack, category which I am sure suits us quite nicely.

Today I had contact to my dealer and he confirmed the raise for tomorrow and that the raise won't be small...

Now that makes the decision very hard to make, for me at least.

Well if I was you I would be ordering an IG today. At least that hopefully locks you into the old price, thus giving you more time to think about it all.
If it doesn’t, you haven’t lost anything as you can get your deposit back.
