Thought I would post this after the Moab trip. The Ineos systems are a bit more complex then most are used to, so here are some tips after 15 or so days of wheeling.
1. Off Road Mode -- Just USE IT! Its not just about turning off the noise makers, it re-tunes traction control to give you more time before needing lockers. Yes, these are proper, locker focused rigs but a sometimes a little traction control is fine. Its a 1 second push, then a second tap to engage. It will shut off around 45MPH. Will work in any mode. Must be stopped or slowly rolling.
2. Lockers -- They work very well. It takes a long push but ONCE not twice like off road mode which is a little confusing. Many times the diff will lock instantly, but if you are bound up or in a weird situation it may take backing up to get it engaged. This is normal for lockers, lockers are best decided on BEFORE you get stuck! Lock Rear first, then front if you think you will need it. Turning them off is a quick, single push. When locking them you will get a slow flash, even once they are engaged. The light will go solid only after wheel speed sensors confirm. When turning off they will usually unlock right away, but if you are bound up you may have to drive a bit. If its the front locker turn the wheel the other direction to facilitate unlocking. Again normal stuff. The quick flash after disengaging lockers will take some time, and usually involves making a turn to detect differential speeds. Try zig zagging on the trail and how fast the light goes out. This is the very unique to Ineos system. However, when you get a locker off or on reading its FOR REAL every time, no mystery. Be stopped, or on a slow, gentle roll. Here is some important info. flashing lights means things are working! On most rigs like the Ram it means nothing is working.
3. Re-Start up Off-Road-- No need to deal with ADAS or auto start stop. But lockers and off road mode will turn off!!! This can be a dangerous issue with lockers being off when you need them! Do your 2 pushes for off road mode and a SINGLE push of any locker you had on after you shut down.
4. T-case -- Make firm shifts! Make sure it is in. Anything more then a little gravel road, go ahead and lock the center diff. Once the going gets rough go 4 Low Lock. Better to keep the cooling system churning with proper gearing.
5. Locker Failure! -- Push of the button results in NO flashing lights. Shift out and back into 4 Low Lock swiftly. This is a common, bewildering issue, but its simply not sensing you are in 4 Low. This caught me off guard on one tree hill with someone, but its happened to me since as well. A quick rowing back and forth and all is good.
