First I would like to preface with the comment that most tire size threads are focused around 17" wheels and tires. I bought a Fieldmaster and it came with 18" wheels and I am trying to avoid buying new 17" wheels. Can anyone provide some insight as to the largest 18" tire that would fit with stock supension and not rub when fully articulated. I would like to find out prior to purchasing larger tires. From what I have read, it seems that 275/70-18 will fit no problem, but what about 285/70-18? Any input would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

285/70R18 is the same size as 285/75R17. We’ve seen Grenadiers with the latter size but they’ve always had a spring kit. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have 285/70/17 KO3’s which are 32.8” overall. So…285/65/18 are 32.6” so for 100% they will fit. 285/70/18 are 33.7” so that’s a gamble that I personally cannot confirm.

Thank you for your comment. I that is exactly where I am at. Maybe I should have asked the question if anyone is running 285/70/18 on stock suspension.

Dude, you did not have to buy your Fieldmaster with 18” rims, however you did. So now you are hoping this forum can give you an exit to your bad choices.
My recommendation, is to acquire some 17” rims and go from there.

When someone pisses in your morning wheeties, you don't have to eat them and take it out on everyone else.

Dude.

18s are standard in the US for the Fieldmaster and at least it is not a request regarding 22s.
